Operations Manager for Poland

We are looking for an Operations Manager for Poland to help us build and expand kitchen operations in Poland. In this role, you will deliver strategic operational leadership across all aspects of warehouse operation and will cultivate a culture. 
You will be responsible for building and improving quality and performance metrics while resolving daily operational challenges!

You will:
  • Define, measure, analyze and improve our operational performance and quality metrics
  • Build and lead a 24/7 operation and a team of  Shift Managers, and Pickers across warehousing, manufacturing, and fulfillment operations
  • You will need to ensure a healthy and team-work oriented environment for your colleagues and arrange needed tools and processes from training and onboarding. Continuously develop team members to ensure a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, tasks, processes, and procedures
  • Execute and deliver the daily production plan; Ensure proper and on-time team, material, facility, and equipment setup; Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and blockers; and drive clear, structured, and concise communication to ensure alignment between teams, shifts, and external stakeholders
  • Create and drive ongoing data analysis & category reviews to drive performance strategically within your category and achieve ambitious targets
  • Participate in the launch of the new markets: research, set-up of the warehouse, inventories, recruitment, etc
  • Participate in the team growth and recruitment
  • Create a positive team environment that prioritizes safety, strives for accountability & respect, enables continuous learning, and promotes open communication and candidate feedback
Skills & Requirements
  •   3+ years of Manufacturing/Production and/or Supply Chain experience or related industry
  •   Experience in managing operational teams in a fast-paced working environment 
  •   Proven track record of consistently achieving operational and quality targets by improving operational processes and frameworks 
  •   Vast knowledge and interest in food 
  •   An authentic leader, who’s able clearly to communicate and motivate, build strong relationships, and drive accountability at all levels
  •   Analytical: data is your friend; you're able to translate numbers into action and pave the way for efficiency
  •   Strategic: you recognize and resolve situations that are ambiguous or challenging, focus effort on meeting or exceeding goals, and pave the way for      efficiency
  •   Problem-solver: you have a knack for production planning and are a critical thinker who uses logic to identify alternatives and present solutions to complex      problems while thinking in terms of contingency plans
  •   Effective project management skills, well-versed in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, APICS, Six Sigma, certification a plus)
  •   Great communication & written skills in English and Polish
